This field is used to record the expiry date for the warranty period provided to the customer on the unit being added. This date stays with the unit record throughout its life on the system |
This field is used to record the expiry date for the warranty period provided by the original supplier of the unit. This date is stored against the IMEI of the unit. If for example the IMEI is removed from a unit record and added to a new unit record (for example a de-install and a re-install elsewhere) the OEM Warranty Expiry Date is transferred along with the IMEI to the new unit record. It will only be different should the OEM Warranty Expiry Date field be changed when adding the new unit to the system. |
